Northland Area Federal Credit Union’s Alpena location is looking for a top-notch summer Marketing Intern who can shine assisting staff, manage social media, taking photos and video as well as helping out at multiple outside events this summer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Traveling and working at various locations and events
• Performing administrational tasks as needed
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Publisher
• Bonus if you have social media trending knowledge, website, or video production/editing experience

Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Additional Desired Attributes:
A successful candidate for this role will have an outgoing personality with a positive attitude. A high level of social media management will also be preferred. This includes but is not limited to managing Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram. Knowledge of website content management system would be helpful, but not required. Must be creative in nature with a high level of interpersonal skills and able to communicate professionally within a team environment. An additional valued skill to have would be experience in customer service as this person would be supporting different departments within the organization as well and also interacting with members within the community. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated use of good judgment and innovative thinking. Knowledge of computer software applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator would also be helpful but not required. Requires flexibility in work schedule to meet the needs of marketing projects, trade shows, community events, etc. Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends, as needed
Misc Comments:
This is a temporary seasonal position located at the Alpena Main Office. The position requires travel to other branch locations, as assigned, which may include the use of a company provided vehicle. Driver's license is required.
