What is Multi-Factor Authentication? MFA
Multi-Factor Authentication, or MFA, is an additional layer of security added to our Home Banking and Bill Pay services. It helps us to verify your identity to ensure that only you have access to your account. MFA monitors your account access for any uncharacteristic or unusual activity.
Security Picture: When you logon to Home Banking for the first time, you will select a security image. This picture will appear each time you login to Home Banking. If you try to login and the image is not correct, double check for typos. If there are none, contact us at 989-739-1401.
Security Questions: The first time you login, you will choose three security questions that only you should know the answers to. If any unusual or uncharacteristic behavior is detected, (ex. signing on from a different IP address than usual), you will be prompted to answer those questions to confirm your identity. If nothing unusual is detected, you will not be asked your security questions.
