Why do I have to change my password?

To help protect our members from fraud, NAFCU passwords must be changed at least once every 12 months. We strongly recommend using unique passwords for all of your login sites.

Tips for making secure passwords:

  1. Start with a passphrase:  The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.
  2. Add punctuation.  (The itsy, bitsy spider went up the water spout!)
  3. Reduce to first letters for each word. (Ti,bswutws!)
  4. Swap a few similar characters. (T1,b$wUtw5!)

You now have a strong password that's easy to remember and VERY hard to guess.  (T1,b$wUtw5!)
